Upcoming Event: Daddy\Daughter Date Nite
Daddy\Daughter Date Night is just around the bend. Date night is an anual event sponsored by the Sonora Chamber of Commerce. It is the chance for young ladies and girls around Sonora to get their dads all dressed up for a night on the town, and most importantly it's a time for them to get to know and spend time with their father. As the night comes closer we will be updating the blog with pictures from former date nights and keep reminding you to purchase your tickets. Outlaw Camps Spotted on Eaton Hill

Well, Howdy Pilgrim!
Can you guess the movie that featured the line, “Morons, I’ve got morons on my team.”? Well, it was the classic western Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford. Their employer had hired the two outlaws to protect the payroll as he brought it from the bank, up the mountain to the mine. Problem was, Butch and Sundance were spending all their energy looking for robbers on the way DOWN the mountain while the saddlebags were still empty. What, you may ask, has this to do with Eaton Hill? Well, as previously mentioned, the Sonora Texas Outlaw Trail has begun to take shape on Eaton Hill. And being that Will Carver, former outlaw and current resident of our local cemetery, is said to have ridden with Butch Cassidy, it was the perfect opportunity to slide in a reference to an all time great line from an all time great film.
The Outlaw Trail on Eaton Hill will give visitors a glimpse of legendary men who operated outside the law and, for the most part, came to violent ends in the streets, barrooms and hillsides of the Wild West.
